Strasbourg is one of Europe's most cosmopolitan cities — seat of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights. Its UNESCO-listed La Petite France quarter, half-timbered Alsatian architecture and Rhine-side setting make it one of France's most photogenic destinations. The LGBTQ+ community here is bolstered by a large expat population of European civil servants and a vibrant university scene, centred on the Krutenau and Petite France neighbourhoods.
