On Sunday, the show starts at 6 PM, with Libras accessibility and Audio Description. Admission is free.
Quase Normal is an adaptation of the North American musical Next to Normal, from Broadway, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and three Tony Awards. The show delves into the complexity of family relationships and mental health, exploring the dilemmas of a family affected by the mother's bipolar disorder and the silent consequences this condition imposes on affective bonds. The plot highlights the strength of love and resilience in the face of mental health challenges.
The Brasília production proposes a scenic and dramaturgical approach deeply connected to human emotions and the audience's sensory experience. Based on the original dramaturgy by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt, the version by Trupe Trabalhe Essa Ideia opts for a minimalist and intimate aesthetic, prioritizing the actor's body, vocal expressiveness, and active listening as central scenic elements.
