My experience at Rango was fantastic. The service is highly recommended, with very clean rooms and bathrooms. The service at reception from Roque, Santiago, and Sebastián was excellent. Likewise, Harvey and Nicolas provided great service at the bar, always offering something good to drink. I highly recommend the bar hopping activity to explore the area and meet new people.
Rooms were standard for a hostel at this price point. There is a decent bar on the 4th floor and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Encountered rude/incompetent front desk staff.
Nice hostel, but one staff member was profoundly misogynistic towards me- not just rude. I would recommend women avoid this hostel, this person displayed many of the warning signs of a person who is likely to commit gender-based violence.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing stay at rango hostel in Medellín. From the moment I arrived Santiago already knew who I was 🤣 helped me check in right away, the entire staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. A special thank you to Santiago, who went above and beyond to help me during my stay. He gave me great recommendations, directions to some really cool places around the city, and always took the time to answer my questions. The whole team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about Medellín. Their recommendations helped me make the most of my trip and feel confident exploring on my own. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my time here, and the staff played a big part in making my experience so memorable. The next time I’m in Medellín, I’ll definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend! 😊🏡✨
The cleanest and most thoughtfully designed hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was spotless, and the little touches like free coffee, tea, and filtered water were much appreciated. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Santiago, who made me feel at home from the moment I checked in. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín.
I fell in love; it's the first time I've been in such a special place, you feel like you're with family.
