Parque Neptuno (Cruising)

Parque Neptuno, near the Parque de la Exposición and the Paseo de la República in central Lima, is a long-standing discreet gay cruising area referenced in local and international guides. It is an open public park; activity is after-dark and low-key. Safety note: central Lima carries petty-crime risk at night, so remain aware of your surroundings, keep valuables out of sight and arrange safe transport. Peru does not criminalise same-sex conduct, but public discretion is recommended.
