Pomeroy Hotel Fort McMurray

Clean and well maintained hotel. Staff are very helpful and professional.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and well put together. The bathrooms were clean with modern touches.

As expected for a hotel but the breakfast ends at 830 which seems way to early.

everything was great i would have gave 5 stars but hot tub and secure parking were under construction, could not use

Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Barely any English, absolutely useless front desk staff as always. I would recommend anywhere but the pomeroy.

clean and nice staffs. could use a microwave in the room for left over meals. but over all... it was a nice and pleasant stay.

Very clean, very quiet. Stayed in a single king room with balcony and the the room was very comfortable. Very nice walk in shower, comfortable bed and pillows. Will definitely stay here again

Fix the damn mini splits in the room. The service was excellent. Breakfast was good. But the hamn heater is default to 17deg and if you turn the heat up it cranks it to 27 then AC kicks on (in -43 that's not fun) and cools the room back to 17. I was fighting with room heat the whole time.

Everything was really good - BUT: they offer breakfast (which has good options) and it starts at 6am. I was in there at 5:50 trying to grab some food before leaving for work, and even though all the food was out and ready - the service staff told me I would be “blacklisted” from the hotel if I had breakfast before 6am. I had to leave at 6am at the latest for work. For an oil town- breakfast should start earlier for those who work early. I found them to be quite rude about it, and it was disappointing to be treated that way. Their reasoning is, no reason. And they have “breakfast bags” at the front desk that have a juice box and a piece of fruit in it, which does not compare to the hot items they have upstairs. Otherwise the hotel was lovely. Steam room was out of order. I’d stay again but caution anyone who works early and would like breakfast and coffee to choose somewhere that has options that start earlier.
