Will update later but too tired and this place has offered the worst sleep I've ever gotten :/
Room was tiny for a suite. It was really odd because there was no way to control the thermostat. Sometimes we would walk in and it would be blazing hot and other times it would be room temp or frigid cold. When we went down for breakfast they said we didn’t have vouchers for the buffet. Which was had me thinking who did they give the voucher too if not the guests. Randomly in the morning after going to sleep during the time the vampires roam the fire alarm started randomly going off. This made me jump up half naked, and call the front desk. They said it was going off because of sprinkler testing. We were not warned in any way that there would be such an event. When we were in our room it was mostly quiet. One plus is that they had light out curtains which was super beneficial and allowed us to sleep very well. Front desk was super helpful with everything.
This property is in dire need of some attention to detail. Lights are not functioning in dining room, molding on floor 3 above the elevators is missing, wall paper is peeling, and the front desk is cluttered and unorganized. Flushing the toilet wakes the dead. The overall feel of the property is dull and tired. At $400 per night it was a total rip-off. Look elsewhere!!
Wow where to start, 1st room, NO working tv, hot water on the fritz, we get moved to another room And it’s next to an employee kitchen on the 5th floor made out of what used to be maybe a storage closet? Theres a full fridge, stove, pots pans dishes, everything, I went into it. The noise from this room was incredible, like sleeping in a kitchen, slams, drops, pots pans clanging every possible noise you could think of happened, plus the 15 people in this little tiny space eatting for till 11pm, I will report to best western corporate as well. The smell of the the workers food was not good, the employees live into the hotel rooms, we watched the children come out of the kitchen and into their private rooms. Absolute crap
This hotel is decades past its prime. Severe dilapidation throughout, and the price is exorbitant for what you get. Supposedly lists as a three star hotel…by what measure? Was at least clean, but messy. Peeling paint, holes in the walls, curtains falling, cables rigged. Just bad. Kitchenette smelled of mold. I asked for a quiet room, but could Clearly hear the crowd below and elevators. The need to renovate, but why would they when they can charge the same because of scarcity and demand?
Great location. It's an old historic hotel. It's nice for what it is, and a great location. But if you're expecting modern conveniences look elsewhere.
