This place recently went though and remodel. It looks great, kind of a cabin feel with modern furnishings. This would be a great place for an extended stay with the kitchen, washer and dryer. It was very quiet. Our view was on the mountain side. Not in a place that easy to walk to.

This hotel is a wonderful find for your Juneau stay. The location is good - you’re only a few blocks from a grocery store, cafes and gift shops. The harbor side rooms are great as you can see boats coming and going, seaplanes coming in for a landing, mountains, but the mountain side rooms also allow you glimpses of eagles and mountain goats way up on the mountain. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean, and having a small kitchenette allows you to manage your food during your stay. The bathrooms are luxurious and beautifully tiled. The manager also gave us info as to where we could glimpse the Aurora borealis and we did! What a great experience! They have recently remodeled and created a wonderful place. Give this hotel a chance while you’re visiting here.

Best hotel in Juneau - hands down

I have stayed in Juneau many times. This hotel is by far the nicest hotel in Juneau. A lot of thought went into the rooms especially. The headboards, desk, countertops, and night stands were all custom made right in the hotel, it looked very cool. I also liked that you could control the room lights without getting out of bed. I will be back again.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation. The property is absolutely beautiful, with cozy spaces that immediately made us feel relaxed and at home. The room was spotless – from the fresh linens to the sparkling bathroom, everything felt meticulously cleaned and well cared for, which made a huge difference after a long day of travel. What really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. They didn’t just check us in and hand us a map, they took the time to get to know what we were interested in and then offered fantastic, thoughtful recommendations on what to do, see, and eat around Juneau. Thanks to their insider tips, we discovered amazing local spots and experiences we never would have found on our own, from scenic walks and must-see viewpoints to great restaurants and activities. We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Juneau, whether it’s your first time in Alaska or your tenth, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed here after hearing it just reopened and I’m really glad I did. Beautiful place — modern but warm, with impressive woodwork and real attention to detail. Staff were welcoming and attentive, and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Juneau. Highly recommend.!
