The receptionist was rude and tried to overcharge me. She gave me a room I hadn't paid for and was stubborn. She tried to argue with me, but I didn't raise my voice or speak rudely. I just insisted she give me what I paid for, and I got it. As punishment, she gave me a room at the very top and back of the floor, even though I told her I couldn't climb stairs. The towels were torn and stained, the bathroom was uncomfortable, and the bathtub was dirty. She got annoyed when I asked for more towels because they only provided small ones. In short, the girl had a terrible attitude. I really hope they hire staff with better manners. Of course, I won't be going back there, even though the location is good. I've tried many hotels in that area, and there are others very close by with friendly staff.

The hotel is very centrally located, just one block from the cathedral, which is great for avoiding the crowds in the Zócalo. It looks nice, although it does have some minor flaws because it's an older building that's been renovated. It reminded me of a hotel from the 60s, but it's comfortable. The room where my parents stayed was small, with a TV and a bathtub in the bathroom. From the moment we walked in, everything smelled and looked clean. 👌🏻 The only downside is that the rooms start on the first floor, so if you use a wheelchair or have trouble climbing stairs, it could be difficult. I am very grateful to the manager because she was very attentive to my parents. My mother has hip mobility issues due to an accident, and the manager gave them a room as close as possible to theirs. She felt unwell on the day of her checkout, and the manager allowed her to stay longer in the room. There were a few minor issues with one of the staff members, and the manager listened to her and offered solutions. The receptionist was also very kind. I truly appreciate all of this because it made for a better stay for my parents, and they left with wonderful memories. If my mother's mobility allows, they will definitely stay there again.

Very old and dirty, the bathroom was moldy, the sheets were stained, and the curtains had holes.
