Spent three nights at Hotel Shibari, an incredible property with some of the best staff we’ve ever encountered. This was easily one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had. Nestled in the jungle and built around a stunning natural cenote, the hotel offers a unique blend of luxury and nature. The rooms are beautifully designed, high quality, and feature private balconies that make it easy to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Expectation – Absolutely Flawless Service Our stay at Shibari Tulum was nothing short of exceptional. While the property itself is a stunning, tranquil jungle oasis, what truly elevated our experience from great to unforgettable was the hospitality. The concierge and butler service was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the team anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and professionalism. Whether it was securing prime reservations, coordinating seamless transportation, or adding thoughtful, personalized touches to our room, their attention to detail was flawless. It felt like having a dedicated insider guiding our entire Tulum experience. The resort completely exceeded our expectations. The rooms are incredibly luxurious and beautifully soundproofed, the private Cenote Tuuch is a magical sanctuary, and the food at ATTA was top-tier. Shibari manages to offer the perfect balance of high-end luxury and serene jungle immersion

Our stay at the hotel was a bittersweet experience. The facilities are nice and the location is good, but several issues affected our experience. Firstly, we were not allowed to use our drone, citing privacy reasons. We understand the importance of respecting guest privacy, but we found it contradictory that recording and taking photos with mobile phones were permitted in the same areas. Furthermore, we spent an entire day without hot water in our room, a situation we consider unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Although we reported the problem, the solution took far too long to arrive and significantly impacted our comfort during our stay. We believe the hotel has potential, but it should improve its handling of these types of incidents and offer clearer and more consistent communication regarding its policies. Unfortunately, these inconveniences marred what could have been a much better experience.
