Hilton Anaheim

Excellent hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Very close to Disney and multiple shops and restaurants. Great restaurant on site including a Starbucks for your daily coffee needs. Very pleasant swimming pool area to spend those hot summer days.

Stayed here for 5 nights to attend a conference. Very accessible to Anaheim Convention Centre and generally new and clean. Gym is great with many machines. However, this Hilton has the worst room amenities (which is important for longer stay like ours) 1. No provision of drinking water (except in gym) and staff advised for guest to buy water from the shop at lobby. 2. No kettle to boil water for making hot drinks and staff advised for guest to heat up water in microwave. 3. No mug with handle to heat up water in microwave (only glass with no handle). 4. Housekeeping services ends at 4.30pm and I have to go down to the restaurant to get mugs. 5. Only 1 microwave at each level located near the elevator but each level has more than 50 rooms and we have to walk a long distance just to boil a mug of water. 6. Outlet for AC water is oddly located near the entrance of the shower and we have to avoid getting dripped on after a shower (see photo). 7. No recycling bin in the room and staff said they do not sort recyclables from trash. As a hotel chain renowned world wide for high standards and strong commitment to sustainability (and we were told they recently renovated), this particular hotel is definitely not living up to it.

The same feeling exists inside the rooms as well. The biggest problem was the bed in Room 7322. It was absolutely terrible. There was a noticeable dip in the middle of the mattress, almost like a dividing line with a slope on both sides. It made sleeping extremely uncomfortable and difficult. After sleeping on that bed for two nights, my leg became so painful that it was difficult for me to walk. Although the hotel eventually moved me to another room, the experience had already caused significant discomfort and inconvenience. Because of this experience, I cannot give this hotel a positive review. The uneven floors and hallways were uncomfortable, and the bed in Room 7322 was in very poor condition, with a deep sag in the middle. After sleeping there for two nights, I developed significant leg pain and had difficulty walking. Although the hotel later moved me to another room, the damage had already been done. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Anaheim for three nights while visiting Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The Pros: The staff truly made the stay memorable. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout our trip. A special shout-out to the employee at the on-site Starbucks who went above and beyond to give my partner a free coffee for his birthday—a really thoughtful gesture given that Starbucks rewards aren't applicable there. The location is fantastic for Disney travelers; it was an easy, pleasant 15-minute walk to the park entrance. Getting to Knott’s was also simple, with an Uber costing about $20 and taking roughly 20 minutes. The hotel itself felt very updated, and our room was clean and comfortable. The Cons: There were a couple of minor maintenance issues. The shower in our room (14-502) had intermittent fluctuations with both water pressure and temperature. Additionally, the ice machine on the 14th floor was out of order for the duration of our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall: Despite the minor plumbing and ice machine hiccups, we really enjoyed our stay. The combination of the updated facilities and the top-tier staff makes this a great home base for anyone planning a Southern California theme park vacation. I would definitely stay here again!
