About this place The Farrington Inn

The Farrington Inn is a budget inn at 23 Farrington Avenue in Allston, Boston, a student-heavy neighbourhood near Boston University. It is a mainstream, gay-friendly hotel, not a gay venue. Rooms and suites are simple, some have kitchenettes, and Wi-Fi and parking are included, which is rare at this price in Boston. The Green Line B branch and buses link it to downtown and the South End. Google reviewers give it 3.1 from about 860 reviews, so expect basic, sometimes worn rooms and read recent reviews before booking.

Yikes. I half expected the twins from The Shining to appear in the hallway. But I don’t think they’d even dare stay here. 🪳

Don’t do it. Don’t do it don’t do it! It’s a cheap place to stay for a reason The workers there were nice..scarce but nice.. The place is a total dump. The fear of bed bugs was REAL although we were fortunate enough to not see any. Save yourself a terrible night of sleep and stay somewhere else.

***DO NOT STAY HERE*** Unless, you think of it as a questionable hostile rather than an Inn. Shared bathroom that was disgusting, you need a key to get in the front door but the back door is completely unlocked and unlockable and the room was not clean. I do understand places like this service customers that need it, but they falsely represented themselves and that's where I have the problem.
