Breakfast 10/10, room was great, pool, outdoor courtyard, cornhole boards, arcade was a great little add-on. It wasn’t busy while we were here. Arcade is fantastic little add-on if it’s your thing. Our daughter enjoyed her stay.
Staff was friendly, rooms were quite and decent enough for comfort. My only issue is room service was non existent. Neglected our room for two days. We requested room service eventually and they took care of it. However did not properly replenish toilet paper. I requested some to the person up front and no one showed up.
Had an absolutely wonderfully pleasant time at Riverside. I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews about it, and I think they are undeserved. It’s not anything fancy or mind-blowing (although having an arcade and cornhole setup are quite awesome and I wish more hotels would do that). The rooms were clean, and all I needed for a one night stay. Numan checked me in when I arrived and despite not seeing my reservation in the system, he rectified everything quickly while simultaneously handling other guests questions. It was impressive, and he did a fantastic job. I also saw him paying close attention to the breakfast to make sure everything was stocked and being replenished. All in all, I’d stay here again. The staff was very kind, the rooms as good as you would need, and the breakfast worthwhile.
There’s a lot of construction so I assume the rooms will be a lot better when completed. This isn’t about the hotel though. There is a restaurant in here, I arrived with my boys hungry from being on the road, we needed food and bed. We were the bad customers that came 20 minutes before closing. We had burgers and so oxtails grill cheese? I don’t remember but it was the best food I’ve ever paid for in my life! Absolutely amazing. We tipped very well.
The hotel is being renovated. Hopefully there will be changes to make the pool and breakfast area easily accessible without having to leave the building and go through the front entrance. Rooms need more ventilation.
