Hyatt Regency Chicago

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Chicago with my significant other, attending a Medical conference from last Wednesday until Saturday, June 13th. Total stay was 10 days. The suite was roomy, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The room temperature and humidity were optimal (no dry, stale air problems you might encounter in suboptimal locations). This is a luxury hotel. It will set you back roughly 5-6 Benjamins per night; however, you get your money's worth in quality and service. It's located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of food and entertainment. However, traffic is a bear, and driving in and out of the entry space can be a little cumbersome, so 4/5 stars for location. When walking out and about, please be mindful when crossing streets. In the car-versus-human matchup, cars win every time. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended.

Great stay in Chicago! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very well-maintained. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy everything nearby. The views of the city were amazing and truly made the stay special. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again.

super clean & friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay, we upgraded our room for a better view and it was stunning. We had our one year old daughter with us and thankfully they had cribs available. Most hotels only have pack n plays but our daughter prefers cribs- which was a huge relief. They also had a fridge in the room so we could keep our baby milk! Also got a $25 dinner credit each night which was awesome. The bean is in walking distance & very close to magnificent mile, lots of shopping. As far as parking- we chose to park in a lot near by (5 min walk) for $17/night instead of the $90 they charge. You can find available lots on spot hero. Would stay again!

Very busy but efficient hotel. Check in was seamless and the room was spotless. Thank you for making our anniversary trip a great trip :)

Do not leave any valuables in your room at this hotel. During my recent stay, I left a pair of sunglasses in my room. By the time I realized and followed up, they were gone. The only people with access to that room were hotel employees. Lost & found had nothing, and the response from staff was dismissive. I’m not writing this out of anger — I’m writing it as a heads-up. If you stay here, keep your belongings with you or don’t bring anything you’d be upset to lose. This isn’t the kind of property where your stuff is safe in your room.

Great place to stay for a conference. The bed wasn’t that comfortable. No room service despite the 4-star status.
