Brownstone Antiques
You’ll find more than just dusty trinkets at Brownstone Antiques, a gay-friendly shop on North Clark Street in Chicago’s Boystown, which sells a carefully chosen mix of vintage and thrifted furniture, clothing, and home décor. The place feels like a real hunt, the kind where you might actually find something good. And you’re supporting an LGBTQ+-welcoming business while you do it. Boystown itself, where Brownstone sits, is full of queer-owned and queer-friendly spots. Beyond the stores, there are restaurants, bars, and cultural venues, all open to LGBTQ+ visitors. Stopping in at a shop like this gives you a real feel for the neighborhood, and connects you with businesses that care about their community. So, if you’re into vintage or just want to poke around, Brownstone Antiques is a good stop. Grab something cool for your place or your closet, and see why the area’s known for its easygoing vibe.Insider Tips

My wife LOVED her dish. Matches the vase passed down from her aunt.
Great longtime establishment for antiques. Many pieces, small and large, in our home are from here.
One of my fave antique stores in Chicago- broad/rotating selection, reasonable prices, nice staff, and they deliver! I'm a weekly Brownstone addict.
Great antique store with friendly staff. Their prices are also very reasonable. I enjoyed listening to nostalgic show-tunes while shopping. Great atmosphere.
Lovely store full of various antique items. Furniture, glassware, silver trays and platters, and much more. The store keeper who I believe may have been the owner was also very nice and helpful. I found what I was looking for plus an extra item and could have looked a lot longer but would have bought a lot more so had to get out of there lol. Will definitely go back.
