Barbara's Pavillion
Visitors praise Barbara's Pavilion for its great atmosphere, friendly community, and well-priced drinks, with many calling it a favorite dive bar. However, a significant number of reviews mention a consistently rude karaoke DJ who detracts from the otherwise positive experience.

This is my FAVORITE bar in DFW. The vibes are immaculate.
Came to celebrate a birthday and had the worst time dealing with the karaoke dj Alex. They were passive aggressive with their comments and were instigating a problem over me taking a photo of the dj booth. Never met someone so determined to cause a scene over absolutely nothing. Definitely not coming back after that experience.
I love this place for the drinks, price and community it brings. The only reason it’s getting TWO starts is the karaoke DJ. They are so rude. It makes me want to leave. Everything else is great.
Bar staff is so great and great atmosphere. However the individual who runs karaoke on the weekend is incredibly rude. They clearly believe they have power in a way that is not customer friendly. Wish we could get someone even slightly kinder to run that. Because the current person kills the vibe. Which is a shame since the bar and door staff are such a gem. But the karaoke runner is bringing the place down.
