They barely speak Japanese, but they'll do their best to communicate using a translation app. The laundry is in a corner of the parking lot on the first basement floor. Only the elevator on the right side goes to the first basement floor.
Arrived for our wedding anniversary hotel could not have been kinder. Access to the Monkey Pod was such a nice touch. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Everywhere was clean. Room was lovely and I can definitely recommend this hotel.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would 100% Stay Here Again Okay, where do I even start? Hotel La Croix seriously came through for us. We originally booked 3 nights but ended up extending our stay because our travel plans completely fell apart (thanks, standby flights 😅). What could have been a stressful situation was made so much better by the amazing staff here. First off, shoutout to Ate Chiqui at the front desk! She welcomed us with the biggest smile and the kind of energy that instantly makes you feel like you’re in good hands. The staff member working with her was also awesome and even offered us water because Hawaii was HUMBLING us with that heat. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, the pillows were soft, and the shower pressure? 10/10. I almost didn’t want to get out. We did have an issue with the AC in our first room, but they checked it immediately and got us moved into a new room the next day with zero hassle. Everyone was friendly, communicative, and genuinely seemed happy to help. One thing I actually loved was that there aren’t room phones. You just text the hotel if you need something. Maybe I’m lazy, but I’d rather text than pick up a phone any day. The breakfast buffet was solid, especially for the price, and the menu changed daily. Plus, the location is so convenient. ABC Store literally outside the lobby, Waikiki Beach within walking distance, food everywhere, shopping everywhere, and pretty much everything you need nearby. If you’re looking for a place that’s affordable, clean, comfortable, and staffed by people who actually care, this is it. Is it a super fancy luxury resort? No. But that’s exactly why I liked it. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. We came to Hawaii expecting a vacation and ended up getting stranded for a few extra days. Thankfully, Hotel La Croix made those extra days easy, comfortable, and honestly pretty enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back. Mahalo, Hotel La Croix! 🌺
