Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach

The low score is specially for the bed. I had a room with 2 queen beds. I tried them both, sadly they both were lumpy. This is the one thing you expect to be good. The engineer staff was excellent. The location and surrounding attractions were great.

Not terrible, but - AC was absurdly loud and right next to bed - gym was a joke. Basically just an old elliptical and treadmill - typically had to wait several minutes for elevators - lobby kept super dark and gloomy for some reason Rooms were clean and everyone was friendly, at least.

Great rooms and service was very quick and efficient. I asked for a trash bag. Housekeepers didn't have any on the cart so they ran downstairs. Got me one and brought it back up to the room very appreciated. Will also say bathrooms and rain showers were great.

Perfect near to restaurants and shopping center. Nice location friendly atmosphere.

Rooftop bar at night had amazing views of all of Long Beach I loved our little suite and everything was clean and fresh with friendly staff all around...enjoyed a pizza and drinks at their bar inside while being entertained by a really nice bartender...I think his name was Jose...knew how to spruce up my club soda for ultimate enjoyment...great little find tucked up in the sky in LB!

Nice room, clean. Only a kuerig, no microwave or anything like that. Parking isn't bad, there is a parking garage right next door to the hotel for $16/day. The area has alot of good restaurants within walking distance.

We were in Long Beach for a cruise and stayed at the Hyatt Centric the Pike Long Beach pre / post cruise on March 13 & March 22. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the cruise terminal and all of the other area attractions. The room that we stayed in before the cruise was very nice, with a queen bed and a nice sitting area. The bathroom was very clean, and had a real large walk-in shower. There were also motion activated night lights that were located in the base of the bed that really helped when you had to go to the bathroom at night. Patricia at the front desk was very friendly and so helpful!! Can’t say enough about here. She even recognized us when we returned for our second stay. The second stay after our cruise was also very nice. They were able to give us an early check in, which was very nice (we had requested that when we booked the room). The front desk people and bell desk gentleman was very helpful. The room that we got didn’t have a sitting area like the previous room, but was very clean, and also had a nice big walk-in shower. They also have a nice roof top pool / bar that has great views. We would definitely stay here again.
