Lovers Point Inn

This hotel is a SCAM. We booked through the official hotel website, but when we had to cancel, our confirmation number DID NOT WORK. You cannot get a human being on the phone, and the website is a joke. DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY TO SCAMMERS.

Nice little hotel near the coast. 2 minute walk to beach at lovers point. Great for a place to stay after driving up the 1 through Big Sur. Bonus point for giving out free Salt Water Taffy at the front desk 🤯 The bed was little stiff for my personal preference, but overall can't beat a place like this for a one night stay on a road trip.

So. It is a 2 star hotel. BUT the location is STELLAR. And the rooms are very clean even tho they are outdated. The carpet is super old.... Bit the rom was clean. They have a ceiling fan. Nice windows. Fantastic ocean view. Tho the other room I got didnt have working heater and the window didnt lock. So check ur windows and heater in advance. Front desk is SO NICE SO NICE.

Outstanding hotel with very clean rooms and panoramic bay views. Great staff and great customer service. Very satisfied with our perfect stay here.

I really don’t need to leave a review because everyone else has really expressed the issues with this place… no AC , had to strip my 6 mo old down to her diaper because it was so hot. No plastic curtain liner in the shower so water floods the bathroom floor when showering … bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were flat. TV was stuck on zoom and didn’t work half of the time. When I went to check in there were 2 other people just waiting to be greeted by the staff, I had to raise my voice and say HELLO for someone to realize we were standing there… The garage area was awkward and hard to get out of… the only thing we liked about this room was the fact that it was close to the beach.

I stayed here for 4 days with my husband and baby it was a amazing experience the front desk guy when I came was very nice and helpful gave me good tips on things nearby. the room I booked had 2 queen size beds very large room I could even fit a playpen no problem very clean with a pretty view

No AC in room, heat was on high, had to turn it as low as possible, had to have windows open. Fan provided in room but not enough. No microwave. Bathroom a bit small.

Room is good and comfortable to stay. Need to have better customer service by providing maid service to all the rooms on a daily basis.
