OURfest Philadelphia
About This Event
This is Philadelphia's National Coming Out Day street festival in the Gayborhood, held on a Sunday close to 11 October. For decades it was called OutFest and run by Philly Pride Presents, which disbanded in 2021 after community criticism over racism and transphobia. The festival now runs as OURfest, produced by Philly Pride 365, the group founded by Tyrell Brown; 2025 was its third year under that banner.
The festival takes over 12th and 13th streets between Locust and Spruce from noon to 7 pm, with stages, beer gardens, food trucks and more than 200 community groups, artists and queer-owned businesses. It is free and all-ages. In 2025 organizers added a Soul Salon stage for queer R&B, a sober space and a quieter decompression zone.
The 2025 theme was "Out Loud, Out Front: Power, Protection & Pride" on 12 October. The 2026 edition was scheduled for Sunday 11 October under the theme "OUT for Good". We couldn't find a reliable crowd count. The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
