Here for a work event. The biggest issue so far is there is no AC in the meeting areas or lobby and only portable units in the rooms. Signs say it is on “heat mode” for winter, in June. It’s hard to hear anyone in meetings because the portable units are loud and the mics aren’t that functional. Every meal has run behind when it was scheduled because there was no food, and a lot of the meetings I’ve attended so far don’t have AV equipment set up on time either. The microwave in the room doesn’t have a cord that reaches the wall, and plugging it into the power strip causes a short. So expect the microwave listed in the room to be for decoration only. My colleague had an issue with her reservation and a person at the front desk said they’d leave a note for the next person to fix it, then the next person had no idea what we were talking about. Our organization contacted the hotel a few months ago with concerns and were assured the hotel was under new management, but we were met with all the issues we were worried about. Just seems like a poorly run establishment based on the history of bad reviews and nothing changing. Edited to add: after I posted this we were served stale food on dirty plates (caked on food and lipstick on glasses) and you can’t easily wash your hands in the meeting area bathrooms because the soap is watered down, presumably to skimp on even the most basic costs.

This place either needs to undergo radical changes or close

This is the most poorly run hotel I have ever stayed at. No AC because they refuse to switch off a winter schedule, dirty as heck rooms, I was assigned a room that literally had someone in it and I walked in. Shut it down.

I had a very disappointing stay at this Wyndham hotel. The property was dirty and appeared poorly maintained. In our first room (#404), we found an old food container left inside one of the drawers, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room. We also discovered that the room phone was completely disconnected and unusable. We were moved to a different room (#425), but unfortunately the issues continued. There was a beer can left behind, one of the towels had a yellow stain on it, and the room did not feel properly cleaned. The phone in this room was also disconnected and not functioning. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was not working, making the stay very uncomfortable. The elevators were out of service, creating a major inconvenience, especially for guests staying on upper floors. What was especially frustrating was that one of the staff members acted as though he was unaware of the elevator issue, even though it seemed clear that the problem had been ongoing. The only positive part of our experience was the front desk lady. She was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed concerned about the situation. It appeared she was aware of the many issues guests were facing but had little ability to resolve them herself. She was the only employee who made us feel heard and valued as customers. Between the dirty rooms, items left behind by previous guests, stained towels, non-working air conditioning, disconnected phones in both rooms (#425 and #404), and broken elevators, this stay fell far below the standards I would expect from a Wyndham property. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced. Wyndham should address the cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service issues at this property immediately.

On June 4, I checked into Wyndham by Rochester at three to be told there is no air in the whole building unfortunately we had to stay there because my daughter was going into surgery on the fifth so therefore we had to go by two fans to put in the room to keep cool until we pass the situation with my daughter. We have come to the conclusion on June 6. We checked out that morning out of the hotel. The rooms were too hot. There was weed smoking on the fourth floor and there was no remote for the televisions so unfortunately this hotel is not doing very well. No air conditioners at all.

The room was disgusting, and the Ac was broken in the entire building

Air conditioning in the whole building was broken, they told us to open the window. They also did not have water available outside of the bathroom tap. The toilet was broken, wouldn't flush and they couldn't move us to another room. When we asked about speaking with a manager about our concerns we were told multiple times "they would be in later that night or morning" and we were finally told the manager wouldn't be in until Monday. We didn't have the option to rebook at a different hotel and Wyndham staff wouldn't offer a refund.
