Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Villa Mirage

I have stayed at the Scottsdale Villa Mirage at least 5 times since 2014. Not much has changed over the years other than ownership switching from Diamond Resorts to Hilton. The property is a great place to stay for a few days and longer. The grounds include a desert themed relaxation/meditation garden, adult only jacuzzi/spa, basketball and pickle ball courts, a mini-golf putting/chipping green, bocci ball, cornhole, shuffleboard in addition to an outdoor life-sized chessboard. The main pool has a waterfall, an additional jacuzzi and a kid's pool with a splash zone. The Aqua resteraunt, which has very good food, is also located by the main pool. The rooms are all two bedroom lockoff suites. The smaller studio side has a limited kitchen with microwave, cooktop, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is no clothes washer & dryer on the studio side, but there is a free laundry room on the property. The larger room with the master bathroom has a closet style clothes washer/dryer, a full kitchen and limited cookware provided. If staying for a longer period, it would be a good idea to bring your favorite kitchen utensils, spices, plastic wrap and such. The Aqua resteraunt serves surprisingly wonderful food. Initially I thought it would have been overly expensive, with subpar pool snacks. However, everything is very good. Update: 12.30.24 The rooms are basically the same, but the appliances, lamps and ceiling fans have been updated. Update: 05.05.25 The free Wifi service is much better with stronger signal. However, the security is weak and using a VPN is a good idea. The TV service has changed to Dish network and there is a channel guide showing what's on. Update: July, 2025 Building 4 is closed while the rooms are updated. Update: October 2025 Building 4 is reopened. The Dish network has been updated making streaming services easier to access. Update: March 2026 I'm staying in a two bedroom lockoff. Turns out my previous comment about all of the rooms have the same layout was wrong. The property has non-lockoff two bedrooms in buildings 7 & 8. Not much has changed since the previous stay, other than the coffee in the lobby is from a machine instead of a brewed carafe. Yuck! Make your coffee in room or get it at the Aqua resteraunt. Update: May 2016 Building 6 is closed for renovations.

As a world traveling Diamond Member, I simply expected more from a Hilton Resort. After moving from a studio to a two-bedroom we simply was a bad experience. As an owner and advance notice that we were moving to an upgraded room and requesting to place our newly renovated room as a priority since we were simply moving. It took them until almost 2pm to finally have our room prepared. That is after I had to check the status two times. By the way, the upgrade was NOT a renovated room. I was emailed by the service manager on duty and told they would compensate with points for the disappointed customer service. I guess she forgot?? Unhappy member..!

Attentive customer service. Rooms are redone and very nice. The unit upstairs had a plumbing issue so we did have to move units and they moved our luggage for us and found us a new room. Parking gets tight in the evening. The food at the poolside restaurant was of limited quality and value, but it was convenient. Great water aerobics program

We’ve stayed at many Hilton resorts as we’ve traveled. This was a nice place, decent location, friendly service & the room was nice and well maintained.

Great Scottsdale location. Lots of pool for kids! As a follow up on another visit to Villa Mirage, we continue to love this place. Great place for kids of all ages! The location is awesome with several nice restaurants in the area and shopping. We love the water aerobics classes. Kudos to Taylor, the maintenance man who helped us twice on our last visit with TV issues. He was extremely efficient!

Decently nice property. But DO NOT let Abbi in the sales office gaslight and lie to you with her timeshare pitch. She claimed I should buy a timeshare because hotel room inflation was “14% year over year”. Smelling BS, I asked her the source of that number and she had the nerve to double down and tell me “that’s just what it is.” Traveling for work and staying in Hiltons, I know the number she fed me was pure bunk, and upon further investigation discovered the hotel room inflation closely tracks with overall economic inflation rate. Abby then said that the reason I didn’t sign up was because of “trust issues with the brand”. ABBY - dishonest people like YOU are what gives trust issues with the brand. You felt the need to LIE whilst representing Hilton. You, Abbi, are doing the brand damage and promoting distrust. You need to start doing a lot better, Abbi. Start by developing a sense of ethics.

Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Villa Mirage Review By Aaron G. Beebe | @GonnaHappen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Villa Mirage while in town for the Epson Tour event at TPC Scottsdale, and overall, this property delivered a really solid experience. This is one of those classic Diamond Resorts properties that Hilton Grand Vacations has taken over and is actively renovating—and it’s not just this property. Both Scottsdale Villa Mirage and the nearby Links property are in the process of being upgraded. You can already see the improvements happening. It still has that older foundation, but it’s being refreshed step by step, and the facilities are clean, comfortable, and steadily improving. Standout Staff & Experience A few people really made this stay stand out: Dennis (Manager) – He recognized I was in town on a reservation through Hilton Honors and originally planning to stay at another property. He took the time to walk me through a very fair and generous portfolio review and sales option that actually fit within my budget. No pressure—just real conversation and understanding. Tiara (Bartender) – She’s been there a long time, and it shows. Great energy, super friendly, and knows how to read the room. The bar area has a fun, social vibe while still being family-friendly. Willis (Sales Rep) – Even though I didn’t upgrade, this was one of the best informational sessions I’ve had. He broke down how the HGV system works—points transfers, booking strategies, end game and maximizing value—without being pushy. Just honest, direct guidance very personable and and kept it real. Atmosphere, Facilities & Location The property has a great mix of energy: Family-friendly atmosphere overall Social and lively around the pool/bar Plenty of space to relax As someone who walks a lot for LPGA and Epson Tour events, I appreciated the location. There’s a nearby Scottsdale Sports Complex just down the way that’s perfect for walking, running, or getting outside. You’re also within roughly 20–30 minutes walking distance to golf facilities connected to PGA and LPGA events, including TPC Scottsdale. If you don’t feel like walking, you’ve got plenty of options—rideshare, driving, or even self-driving cars like Waymo operating in the area. I also saw firsthand how helpful the staff is. I even assisted alongside a facility manager helping a guest with mobility challenges get into a courtesy cart and back to their room. That level of care stands out. Community Feel Met some great guests from Boston and Canada—good conversations and good vibes. That’s part of what makes a stay memorable. --- Final Take Scottsdale Villa Mirage—and the nearby Links property—are both evolving in a good way with ongoing renovations, strong staff, and a great location for golf and events. Our family stayed here while visiting for graduation. As a family of six, we were able to stay comfortably in a 2 room villa with a pullout couch. Even with the couch, we had plenty of room for our stay! The amenities offered were amazing! Our kids enjoyed the pools and the arcade center. We didn’t have time to explore the arts and crafts, but they looked affordable and fun! The resort was clean and well maintained.
