This hotel could stand for a few upgrades. The refrigerators needed to be defrosted or replaced as well as the microwaves. Another guest said the same about her room. The hotel breakfast was not worth $18 per guest. The food was not hot. The hostess was operating the dining room and Star bucks.

Decent accommodations and located in the heart of the city.

They left rubble and broken glass in front of the building over night and all of the next day after two cars crashed into the hotel's flagpoles. Wasn't cleaned up when we checked out the day after. I suggested to the front desk they clean it up the afternoon after the accident. Show some dignity/pride.

Checked in late, unfortunately there were no rooms left in the type we booked, but they were great and gave us a similar room and comped breakfast. There's a church parking lot next door that's super cheap and easy to pay for on your phone. The room was huge and clean. There's a wet bar with a small fridge that was convenient. Minor complaint that there's a table but only one chair, so one of us ate at the table and the other on the couch with the small TV tray table. And then the TV in the bedroom doesn't swivel and is way offside if the bed. The breakfast was pretty expansive, eggs and meats and lots of carbs. And they give you your own carafe of coffee. It was honestly pretty reasonably priced for what you get, even though ours was comped. There's lots of eating options in the downtown area around, within walking distance.

Our very first time visiting Wilmington was absolutely amazing, and staying here made the trip even better! The hotel staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. They gave us some truly great local recommendations that helped us navigate the city and find the best spots to explore. The views from the property were beautiful, especially when the sun goes down, the Wilmington sunset is stunning! More than anything, this hotel was incredibly accommodating for families. Our 5yo son had an absolute blast during our stay. Between the top notch service and the fantastic location, we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the city. We will definitely be back.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience at this property was extremely disappointing from start to finish. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because the reservation clearly stated that breakfast was complimentary. However, I was shocked to discover that I was charged $36 for breakfast for two people. What made this even more frustrating was the poor quality of the breakfast itself. The selection was extremely limited, the food was unimpressive, and even the fruit portions were disappointingly small. There was nothing about the breakfast that justified an additional charge, let alone one of that amount. The service throughout my four-day stay was equally unacceptable. Housekeeping appeared only once during my entire stay. Basic necessities such as water bottles, soap, and other essential toiletries were not replenished regularly. Providing these items is a fundamental expectation at any hotel, yet this property failed to meet even those basic standards. To make matters worse, the hotel charges guests for parking despite already paying a significant amount for accommodations. These constant add-on fees made me feel as though the hotel was focused more on generating extra revenue than on providing a quality guest experience. What was particularly frustrating was the cancellation policy. After experiencing the poor service, I wanted to move to another hotel. However, because I had booked a four-day stay, I would have been charged an additional one-night fee if I canceled after two days. I genuinely felt trapped—forced to remain at a hotel that was not delivering the services and standards that were advertised, simply to avoid further financial penalties. This hotel is a perfect example of why travelers should not rely solely on a brand name when making reservations. A well-known brand means very little when the actual guest experience falls so far below expectations. Between the misleading breakfast charges, poor housekeeping, lack of basic amenities, parking fees, and restrictive cancellation policy, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. My advice to future travelers is to focus on the actual services, amenities, and customer reviews rather than the brand name alone. Unfortunately, this property failed to deliver value, transparency, and basic customer care.
