Visiting from Australia and cycling across Africa. Just had a fantastic 4 night stay here. The hotel is excellent in all respects. Located immediately next to the mall and opposite the beach. Restaurants and coffee shops are within a short walk. Room was very quiet and comfortable with a lovely ocean view. Lovely breakfast which can be taken on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Staff are excellent, reception staff helped to find secure storage for our bicycles inside the hotel and kindly printed off airline tickets for us. The hotel offers airport transfer in their own vehicle. Arranging this via reception and their driver Jose worked well. The driver who took us and our bicycles at 5am was very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Only room and bed are small otherwise all is well

Very disappointing experience at Easy Stay Hotel, Baía Mall. Last night, we had no issues at all. We were allowed to enjoy our friend's own whisky while also purchasing drinks from the bar. We paid for a bottle of wine, several beers, and our friend drank his own whisky without any objection from the staff. Today, we asked whether the bar had a specific whisky available and were simply told that it did not. The problem was not the answer itself, but the behaviour of the staff member working at the bar. He was extremely arrogant, rude, and unprofessional. He spoke to my sister without basic courtesy or respect, did not even look up from his phone while talking to her, and responded in a dismissive and condescending manner throughout the interaction. He addressed her as though they were friends outside of the hotel, which is completely inappropriate in a customer service environment. To make matters worse, when we requested the Customer Service email address or the contact details of the manager, he refused to provide them. Our friend is a Southern Sun Gold member and stays at this hotel several times a year. Regardless of membership status, no guest should be treated in this manner. This level of service is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards one would expect from a hotel welcoming regular guests. We are staying in rooms 301 and 303, and we sincerely hope management investigates this incident and takes the necessary steps to improve staff professionalism and customer service.

It was a good place to be. Opposite the Indian Ocean, with its fresh breezes blowing smoothly.

Small rooms (didn't expect that). But very convenient if you are travelling for fast business, or in a group trip (they have a lot of rooms). Very nice service. People working here are very friendly and helpful.

had an unfortunate experience during my stay. My AirPods went missing from my room, and when I reported it to reception—while I still had their location—I was told the matter would be investigated. Staff appeared to involve others and reassured me throughout the day, but there was no clear progress or communication, which became frustrating. When I asked for assistance in contacting the police, the hotel refused to provide support or any emergency contacts, which is unacceptable. As a result, I had to handle the situation on my own. On top of this, some hotel employees refused to provide emergency contacts. I know who they are, and your lack of concern about identifying them only shows that the hotel is not in the slightest capable of resolving problems that have occurred or will continue to occur. This is evident from the past two days and from the fact that you are only now offering help—two days after the incident, just hours before my departure, and after I had already lost the location of the AirPods.
