Cock & Bull

We visited on a Saturday night. It was very lively with local customers. You order at the counter yourself. We ate kangaroo and crocodile meat. The kangaroo tasted like lean beef and was surprisingly light. My child was very happy with the chicken nuggets and fries from the kids' menu; they were delicious.

Classic Aussie pub. Great for international visitors and locals. Old school pub vibes, nothing fancy, just big portions, good vibes and great food.

The portion size was very generous, and the meat had a great texture! It tasted delicious when dipped in the sauce! You had to go to the counter to order.

I tried crocodile and kangaroo meat for the first time in Cairns. The crocodile was less gamey than I expected and quite easy to eat! The kangaroo had a slightly stronger flavor, so I think it's something people will either love or hate. It was a great experience!

Another pub in Cairns that's well worth a visit. For those not from Australia, they offer an Australian menu featuring dishes like crocodile and kangaroo. Super generous portions and fantastic service. Great atmosphere. You have to go.

Loved the atmosphere at Cock & Bull! The meals were huge, great value for money, and everything came out super quick. Staff were friendly and the whole place had such a fun, laid-back pub vibe. Definitely recommend trying the steak. Will absolutely come back next time I’m in Cairns!

During my trip to Cairns, I visited this restaurant because I wanted to try kangaroo and crocodile meat. The restaurant was lively but not too noisy, creating a calm atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, making for a very pleasant experience. This time, we shared a kangaroo and crocodile meat combo between two people. It was more voluminous than we expected, more than enough to satisfy two people. It was my first time trying both, and it was a great experience. The kangaroo was as tender as beef, and the crocodile was like chicken cutlet – both very easy to eat and delicious. Furthermore, I was surprised to find out they offer a free large chocolate parfait for posting a review! It was huge, so much so that I was worried we wouldn't be able to finish it between the two of us. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Cairns!

I visited around 7 PM on a weekday. They were very kind and let me choose my seat, inside or outside, without a reservation. There was a staff member who spoke Japanese and explained the drinks, making the ordering process very smooth. The food arrived relatively quickly, and the pager rang, but the portions were much larger than I expected! Even two dishes were a struggle for three people, so I recommend sharing one dish if you have a small appetite. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and I was very satisfied! It's a wonderful restaurant that I would recommend to others!

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly! It was my first time trying crocodile and kangaroo dishes, and I was surprised by how delicious they were – much better than I expected. It's a fantastic restaurant offering a unique Cairns experience. I'd love to come back.
