Checked in date: 3/6/26 Currently staying here and the hotel itself is comfortable and smells great. The room has been pleasant so far. However, my arrival experience was disappointing. I arrived around 10:30am and *****I was immediately told that my room was not ready, without my reservation or even my name being checked first *******Only after I questioned this was I informed that early check-in was available for an additional $50. Before arrival, I had been advised that early check-in may be available for a fee, but the actual amount was never disclosed in advance. My 7-night stay cost $797 (approximately $114 per night), yet I was charged an additional $50 to check in about 3.5 hours before the standard 2pm check-in time. My main concern was not the existence of an early check-in fee, but the lack of transparency and communication. I would have appreciated being given an estimated waiting time or alternative options, as I would have been willing to wait if the room was expected to be ready later in the morning. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. As a guest, I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than acknowledged, and a simple apology or more considerate communication would have made a significant difference. The check-in experience left a poor first impression, and the interaction made me feel more like an inconvenience than a valued guest. The hotel itself has been enjoyable so far, which makes the disappointing arrival experience even more unfortunate.

Awful hotel. A shabby place. Pictures are decieving. Torn curtains, broken beds and tiles. The toilets are disgusting. We checked in and checked out right sway.

What an amazing place to stay, the historic building is full with charm and character. Rooms very clean and beds are super comfortable. The lady at the front desk made check in a breeze and made us feel right at home, would definitely recommend staying here and for sure will be coming back soon.
