Oaks R Suites Geelong

The most horrible experience ive ever had with hospitality and this hotel. They denied my family access to the room, the hotel charged us, then wouldn't let us in. Ill be taking this as far as I can as this hotel went from my favourite to my most disliked, all thanks to the lady on the desk tonight. I am appalled the woman had no heart, no kindness and did nothing but interrupt me. Shame on you Oaks.

Have recently spent a night here and couldn't praise this motel enough...on arrival was very impressed with what l could see...very spacious rooms complete with up to date furniture, beds and appliances...comfortable beds and beautiful linen.. would highly recommend this motel for comfort and position.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Located at the south end of town, near the Ferris wheel. Rooms are well appointed, good sized and clean. Some rooms have a spa. Beds and pillows are comfy and warm. Carpet is soft and looks new. A short walk to the waterfront & Westfield. Overall, a nice place to stay and a good price.

Cleaners left a row of dirty rubbish bags along corridor for hours which stank, whole corridor actually smelled like body odour as it was a hot day and there was no ventilation. Rooms were okay, do the job but not super nice as furniture quite dated, artwork will be some old canvas prints from Kmart is the vibe. Floors will have been swept but it’d be a bit blotchy or there’s dirt/scuff marks on walls. Good central location if you want to use Geelong as a base for travel to Bellarine region.

Closest hotel to the great carousel in the heart of Geelong. Short walk to Eastern beach, cafes and parks. Stayed in one of their one-bedroom room just last new year’s eve to watch the fireworks. Not a bad walk to the fireworks location. Love the bed as I can tell it’s freshness and cleanliness. I liked the wide sliding door to balcony overlooking the park. It’s like an apartment where you got kitchenette and cooking facility for heating and quick cooking only but you have to have your own pan and kitchen utensils. The fridge is huge, normal oven and small cooktop. Bathroom is nice and big, towels are soft and whitie! Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap and slippers. Shower is huge and I would shower barefoot as it’s clean. We had a secure parking within the building once you’re given the fob/card. Quick parking at the front when you check in then drive to the back to get into the car parking. Leave your car and walk to Westfield shopping. Overall experience was happy and satisfied. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
