Thorne Harbour Health — formerly the Gay Men's Health Centre (GMHV), one of Australia's oldest LGBTQ+ health organisations — is Victoria's peak body for LGBTQ+ health services. Founded in 1988 in response to the HIV/AIDS crisis, the organisation has evolved over three decades from a narrowly focused HIV-prevention organisation into a comprehensive LGBTQ+ health service provider. Today Thorne Harbour Health provides sexual health services, HIV treatment support and PrEP access, mental health counselling, community research, and advocacy on LGBTQ+ health policy.
