About This Event
The Proud Awards are Perth's night of nights for the LGBTQIA+ community — an annual gala celebrating the people and organisations behind Western Australia's queer life, across community leadership, business, the arts, advocacy and emerging talent. In 2026 it is the 11th edition, on Sunday 27 September at Connections Nightclub, Perth's long-running gay club, hosted by drag star Hannah Conda.
It is a red-carpet gala evening — award presentations, live entertainment and special guests — rather than a festival or march. It is produced by Proud Entertainment Group.
Tickets are sold through Humanitix.
Practical notes: Connections is in Northbridge, Perth's nightlife district, central and easy to reach. Late September in Perth is mild spring weather. Book tickets ahead through Humanitix, as the gala sells out.
