Friendly welcome...great room (I received a suite as an upgrade from the hotel)...very clean...breakfast was above average (everything I needed was there/I don't eat anything different at home)...the location is okay...you can hardly hear anything from the street...U Berliner Tor is easily reachable on foot...If walking alone to the hotel in the evening, avoid going past August Bebel Platz...I would book this hotel again.

We stayed here as a family and booked several rooms with different amenities. All the rooms had issues, such as tiles and shower walls covered in limescale, loose shower fixtures, loose baseboards, and a lack of shower gel. Some of these problems were mentioned, but none were even noted. The air conditioning units cooled very well, but they constantly gurgled. The breakfast was disappointing. Overall, the value for money was simply not acceptable.

We chose this hotel based on the pictures and descriptions, but ended up being quite disappointed. The location in St. Georg was a major drawback for us. Around the hotel, you encounter people who are obviously addicted to drugs and alcohol at any time of day or night. While the hotel can only be held partially responsible for this, you should still be aware of what you're getting into in this neighborhood. We didn't feel particularly comfortable in the evenings. At first glance, the room seemed modern and stylish, but upon closer inspection, it quickly became clear that it was more show than substance. The bathroom fixtures were heavily calcified and also covered with an unpleasant film, which didn't exactly give a clean impression. On the positive side, the bed was clean and the air conditioning worked reliably. However, our view was of the courtyard, where a group of motorcyclists met on Sunday. The engine noise was correspondingly loud. We found it particularly disconcerting that staff members repeatedly complained to guests about the poor working conditions and the situation at the hotel. This seemed unprofessional and left a bad impression. Overall, our stay was rather unpleasant. We wouldn't book this hotel again.

We had two "Feelgood" rooms. The rooms were very clean and well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the shower leaked too much into the bathroom. However, this was easily absorbed with the bath mat and a towel. We didn't try breakfast as we found it too expensive at €25. You can leave your car parked, as you can get everywhere by subway and commuter train. The station is a two-minute walk away, and the main train station is less than ten minutes away. We would definitely come back.
