Dragon Sauna is Hamburg’s biggest gay sauna, with 1,500 square meters spread across several levels.
You’ll find a Finnish sauna and a steam room, plus private cabins if you want something quieter. There’s also a spa tub, a bar, and a restaurant for drinks and food. If you need a break from the steam, check out the TV room, the movie rooms with their lounge chairs, or the game room. There’s a smoking area too. Several play zones dot the space for whatever kind of interaction you’re after.
The place recently got new management, and they’re still making changes, though it keeps its long-standing reputation in the Hamburg gay scene. It’s one of the city’s established saunas for gay men, a social hub where you can expect a welcoming vibe.

A very good sauna in Germany – probably one of the top 5 we've seen so far. A locker costs €25, and a towel is €2 extra. The sauna is clean, spacious, and offers a hygiene center, various play areas downstairs – including two slings and other rooms. A positive feature is the availability of both hand sanitizer and lubricant dispensers downstairs.
I was there yesterday for Mixed Day. It was my second visit to Dragon Sauna, and I loved it again. Everything is clean, the staff is great... Okay, sometimes you have to make allowances for the clientele when they behave like complete jerks and hormone-driven idiots. But hey, that's just how it is, and you know what you're getting into. I like the location and the atmosphere. The prices are perfectly reasonable, and you can have a great time there. Whether just for a sauna or for something a little more special. And even though I know it was just some casual flirting, one of the employees with the short black hair and gorgeous dark eyes is a fantastic flirt. I'm totally smitten with him ^^ Unfortunately, I don't know his name and I don't have the courage to talk to him again, except when ordering drinks. If he happens to read this... THANK YOU!!!
We went to the Dragon Sauna today and it was fantastic! The sauna is really beautiful, very tastefully decorated, and the staff were super friendly. We'll definitely be back!
I actually quite like going there, but the lighting is far too bright everywhere. When you leave the steam room, you're immediately in the bright spotlight (since you come out naked), and opposite the exit there's a bench where usually three or four people sit, giving them a direct view of their genitals. More discretion is needed. It's also generally too bright in the steam room. It certainly wasn't like this before, and it's rather unusual for a gay sauna. Were the changes perhaps made because of the "Mixed Days"? Those are actually heterosexual days. A gay sauna shouldn't offer something like that out of consideration for its regulars and the community.
Where it's written you have to be announced. Entrance refused today. Not serious at all
