You’re not booking Arthotel for a splashy design experience. You’re booking it because it’s a short walk from Munich’s main train station and has easy access to the U-Bahn, putting the city’s LGBTQ+ scene and major attractions within easy reach. It’s a comfortable, practical place to sleep, whether you’re in town for a quick weekend or a longer trip.
Rooms are relaxed and come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, desks, and minibars. Suites have separate living and dining areas if you need more room. Every guest gets free breakfast, which is a nice touch, letting you skip the hunt for coffee and a pastry first thing. There's also a sleek lobby bar for a nightcap or to meet other travelers.
Parking is available, but it costs extra. Most people will probably just use the U-Bahn, given how close it is. This is a solid, gay-friendly base for exploring Munich, no matter if you're alone, with a partner, or in a group.

Very large superior room and bathroom, quite quiet location at the back of the hotel. Large window that opens and an additional interior door to the hallway, which also contributed to the quietness. The mattresses were too soft for our liking. Contrary to the hotel's pictures, there was no art in the rooms, only in the public areas. The room therefore felt somewhat sterile. Good breakfast, staff very quick at clearing and replenishing. However, the breakfast room was always very crowded and noisy, but there is a somewhat hidden adjoining room.
Very good, but a bit more expensive than the others.
Very close to the Hauptbanhoff, trams, S and U bahn. Ideal for central access to all areas of Munich. Quirky and quiet. Staff all fantastic.
Absolutely stunning for solo traveller- breakfast is included. Quite central, safe zone and locality, you can walk alone even after midnight, every central locations are walkable upta 20-23 mins which is quite easy to walk (I don't like to walk but it was enjoyable). Staffs are nice, good clean rooms.
