To enter you have to use internet, they don't give you a key They didn't allow me to enter inside the room until 2h later because their servers fail. Nobody helps. They didn't care
Stayed 3 nights at ~€400/night as it was a high occupancy month in Munich. First room ridiculously tiny & had to be moved. Second room had non-functioning air conditioning from check-in. Reported immediately and went our for the day. Received a text saying it was fixed. When we return for the evening we found it was not. We personally diagnosed the error code and informed the hotel a technician was needed. They took 30+ hours to act on the problem and then replied via text that a technician was needed and it would not be repaired until the day of our departure. Problem never resolved before checkout. Spent one night in a room so small we couldn't unpack and two nights in a 6th floor room without AC. Bob W is fully digital with no front desk, making escalation very difficult. They offered 20% compensation then failed to process it. We had to pursue a chargeback through our credit card provider to receive any refund. Breakfast at their contracted restaurant Cotidiano was genuinely excellent — the one bright spot. At €400/night, basic services must work. When they don't, the hotel must respond and honor its commitments. Bob W did neither. Cannot recommend.
Shower head would not hold itself in place. Seems like an existing issue based on previous comments that have not been solved at all. Bedsheets were extremely odd — they are mismatched in texture with the pillow and duvet covets. They were pilled, worn down, and felt coarse to the touch. No stars for service whatsoever because there was none (wholly self-serviced). No kettle provided. 10min walk into the old town. Beware that there is a small square right in front of the building, and people will gather there until late at night. The noise from people and traffic can be quite unbearable. A real shame because we stayed at the Bob W Milan and it was a really pleasant stay — part of the reason why we chose to stay again.
Phenomenal. Super clean and safe place. With a super technological and authentic check-in system. Plus, an integrated bar downstairs that brightened up all our evenings. I recommend it.
