The location on the fjord is beautiful. Akureyri is about 20 mins away. It was a good gateway to the Troll peninsula attractions. The room was a good size, but felt small due to the clutter. Kitchen well stocked but again felt a bit wanting for space. Tables right outside the room door seemed odd. Hosts were kind. Ample parking.

Rooms are clean but small. Hostess is pleasant. Kitchen is small for the number of guests expected to use it. There is a clothes washer/dryer for the guests use. You better be willing to sit in front of the bathroom door if you want to use it during a popular time of day. They need to put a portapotty outside for emergency use. We left a day early because my wife couldn’t get into the bathroom for over an hour and she wasn’t willing to sit in front of the door to hold her turn.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Europe Room! The queen bed was incredibly comfortable—easily one of the best nights of sleep we had during our trip. The soundproofing was outstanding and by far the best we experienced anywhere in Iceland, making the room wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The Airbnb is run by an elderly couple who were so kind, warm, and welcoming. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The rooms very cluttered and not maintained at all. Nothing like what it was shown on the photos I. Hotels.com. Hotels.com should not list such hotels in their website. Had to cancel our booking there and book another hotel. The location has a good view but everything else is bad.

Wonderful place, a lovely couple who run the guest house. Super clean and comfortable, we were upgraded to a bigger room as we were staying longer. Great kitchen, fantastic scenery, garden to eat outside, use of the washer/dryer. We could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Gummi & Laufey are two precious souls. The place immediately felt like home and we felt very comfortable. The kitchen included everything one could need and the room we had was perfect for us. Thanks for everything! We’re looking forward to coming back one day:)
