Good location, comfortable rooms, unobtrusive but helpful staff.

Corresponds to a regular 3*, night check-in is fast without unnecessary paperwork and document checks - you just need to provide your credit card number... Breakfast excellent, rich for a 3*, just a little bit of a problem finding a place at the table - everyone wants to leave as soon as possible. After a 4-day stay, there are still a few minor shortcomings - the KEY card reader, which unlocks the electricity, has a bad lock, 1 lamp by the bed did not light at all, the ceiling light was blinking /fortunately there is enough light even at night../, but removing the card also turned off the power supply for the refrigerator! And when you return after a day trip, that beer you are looking forward to is simply warm!!! It completely corresponds to the accommodation category, the location in the center is luxurious and the overall very diverse breakfast offer /included in the price of the night/.

This was the worst stay in my ring road trip around Iceland, which is a shame because it was my last night in this beautiful country. Would not recommend this hotel - walls, ceilings, and floors are paper thin. I didn’t sleep a single hour because the folks above us stomped around, dragged luggage and furniture, and I could hear all of it. Drunk people were slamming doors all night and shouting/laughing in the hallway. The towel heater/rack in the bathroom started making really loud unbearable noises at 1am even though it was not on. The bathtub was unsightly. The lobby was nice, but as soon as you step off the elevator, the room doors look worn down, carpets were stained, and my room smelled like body odor.

Excellent location, just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and bars. I traveled with my daughter and my only concern was their choice for a bathroom door, frosted glass. Staff was great and breakfast morning. If I return to Reykjavik I would stay here again.

Location is great. Besides that, we did not enjoy our stay. As soon as the sun rises, the room starts to boil. The sun hits the windows and heats the room above 80 deg. They are also currently remodeling. The noise of hammering and drilling starts at 9:00 am. Everyone should be getting discounts.

Hotel very well located, but be aware that rooms facing the square are very noisy on weekends.
