Oslo/Fusion International Film Festival

Oslo/Fusion is Norway's international LGBTQ film festival — founded back in 1990, one of the older queer film festivals in the Nordics — and it fills a week of late September in the Norwegian capital. The 2026 edition is its 36th; the organisers confirm the exact dates and venues closer to the time (the 2025 festival ran in the second half of September).

It screens features, shorts and documentaries from around the world with a strong QTBIPOC and community focus, alongside talks and events, and it draws Oslo's film and queer crowds together.

Practical notes: Oslo is compact and its public transport is excellent, so venues are easy to reach; the festival is city-centre. Late September in Oslo is cool and can be wet — bring warm layers. Tickets and the programme go up on oslofusion.no once the 2026 line-up is set.
