No air conditioning in the room, and no window could be opened. The cleaning left much to be desired.

They charge you for everything, and the recepcionist in the morning talks to people with a really bad tone of superiority that feels really rude

This was my first time staying in a hostel in Europe, and I chose Safestay. The receptionist, Fanfan, was incredibly friendly and welcoming during my check-in. When I was struggling to decide what to have for dinner, she recommended some great restaurants she had personally tried, which was a huge help!

Fanfan was really friendly and approachable, she was very eager to answer my questions and made me feel very welcomed! Fanfan also gave me plenty of recommendations of places to check out and good restaurants to eat out which are very insightful. Also it’s simply great to be greeted by a Mandarin-speaking staff which was a big bonus!!

Fantastic hostel! The people are welcoming, the common areas are inviting, the terraces are lovely, and the view from the balcony is incredible! The buffet is varied, and the communal kitchen has everything we needed. There's even a makeup room with a hairdryer. I highly recommend it!

It's very close to the city center on foot, ideal for saving money on transportation during your trip. The reception staff are very friendly. For example, when I checked in, they gave me a glass of water with lemon and chatted with me. My pillow had a slight stain on one side, and with the light on, the room quickly becomes infested with mosquitoes.
