Hotel Khreschatyk Kyiv

Optimal location in the center of Kyiv (Maidan). The room met all 4-star specifications: clean, functional, and well-maintained. Service protocols were efficient with no unnecessary delays during check-in/out. High price-to-value ratio. Recommended for business and focused travel

My favourite hotel in all of UA. Staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, room service is fast and deliberate. Food is absolutely amazing, even if they overdo the green oil on most things. Really well made, lovely ingredients. The location is absolutely amazing, right over the road from the column the the flags of our heroes who died fighting. You cannot be more central than this. It had me fully packed. The selection of drinks at the bar is great, they have Macallan 12 amongst a good whisky selection which is unusual for a smaller bar. The only thing stopping this being a 5 everything star review is the stark contrast between the rooms on different floors. This time I stayed, I was on the 1st floor which was nothing like the 2nd where I stayed last time. It was missing things like the ability to turn the lights off when you're in bed, no extractor fan in the bathroom, the floors are not carpeted and you can hear people having conversations through the walls - but these are small things in comparison to how great everything else is and given the fact you can ask for a different floor. :) Next time I will request to stay on the 2nd floor before I book to make sure I get one of the nicer rooms.

I stayed in March for three nights. What I liked was primarily the location and decent rooms, although the balcony rug could use a new one. The room is non-smoking, but there was a slight cigarette smell or a specific odor. Airing it didn't eliminate it, but it wasn't a big deal. I checked in on my birthday, and reception congratulated me and then left a gift—champagne, a cake, and a card—which was very nice. Towels are changed daily. Breakfast is available for an extra fee. I found the price a bit steep for the breakfast. I ordered one of the salmon breakfasts, but it was actually very limited. What wasn't so bad: Since I paid for breakfast, considering I had an early checkout, they were supposed to give it to me (a simplified version) at reception. I forgot, and no one reminded me, and the price is 450 UAH (includes a sandwich and water). I think the staff should be monitoring this, considering I was the only one checking out at that time. Or they could give it to my room in the evening. My suggestion would be to take these small details into account, and it would be nice if the receptionists smiled more often.

My daughter and I stayed at the Maidan Palace Hotel from March 28th to 31st, 2026, for the second time. We booked this hotel because of its central location, good value for money, and wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff is discreet yet very friendly, and the air-raid shelter is easily accessible. An ideal hotel during these turbulent times! We'd gladly stay again! ☺️

I'm trying to call the reservations department, but there's silence. No one's answering, and no one's calling back. So I'm wondering if I even want to stay at this hotel if there are problems to begin with.

The only plus of the hotel is that it is near Khreshchatyk. We went on a business trip with colleagues, booked 3 rooms, in the end the reservation department booked only 2, although they even gave us confirmation with the names of all three and did not resolve the issue, there was a free junior suite, but they offered only for a fee, which is 2 times higher, although in fact we had to stay one night, since we entered the hotel at 19:00. Another colleague wanted to check in as indicated at 14:00, but they refused, because the room was not ready yet. The shelter is in words. It is simply the 1st floor is not equipped with anything, there are many closed office premises. And only 2 are free, one small room and a gym with a mirror in the floor, well, it is dangerous in case of arrival at least. There was not a single employee in the shelter. It feels like the hotel has no experience working with customers at all, just take payment, settle in and check out. I was in Odessa for 2 weeks, then 2 days later they called and asked if anything had changed, asked when the train was and said that you could check in right away, although check-in was three hours later. And I will come there again, because the service is pleasant and attentive. And here the capital's hotel and service are terrible. Well, as a plus I can say - it's delicious cuisine and that's it. Please pay attention to the management's comment, because for example, my colleagues and I will definitely not stop by, and our colleagues all over Ukraine, so we will tell our employer not to recommend booking rooms here anymore...

First of all, I'd like to point out that the rating is based on the price-quality ratio. This is different for everyone, but overall, for me, the hotel's amenities are worth the price. Amenities: In terms of the comfort and beauty of the apartments themselves, they are well worth the money; they look decent, with the exception of a few scratches and minor stains. The room has everything you need to check in and relax right away. The hotel covers all basic needs as standard. It's also nice to have a kettle, coffee machine, master switches on both sides of the bed, and a sound system throughout the room. There's a restaurant, gym, and spa. Among the downsides to the amenities: first and foremost, the key cards. Not a single day went by without the key card running out of power and having to be recharged at reception. Since there were two people sharing the room, there were also two cards, and sometimes situations arose where one of the cards, even after being recharged, would still turn off. It's a real pain in the ass, and I highly recommend the hotel address this issue, as it's a real nuisance during extended stays. Another downside was that the elevators were undergoing renovations during our stay, and the elevator call button gave me a noticeable electric shock almost every day. Staff: I have no complaints about the hotel staff—they do their jobs well and are courteous. A birthday greeting from the restaurant was also a nice bonus. However, there are some quirks: it's not entirely clear why the waiters carry orders to your room in their hands—it's obvious they're struggling. And overall, they seem a bit sad. Sometimes I wish there were two people at reception, as lines sometimes form and we have to wait 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, everyone is great. I'd especially like to thank the cleaning staff and laundry staff for their excellent work. To summarize: this hotel is in the heart of Kyiv, beautifully appointed, with all the amenities for short stays (such as business trips), but not quite suitable for longer trips like vacations. I think the hotel's rating is appropriate for its star rating—4 out of 5.

Rooms are old and lack charm. The shower/bathtub combination is unsuitable for people over 1.80m tall. The gym was closed, even though it was advertised as open on the website. Room service only until 9:45 pm. The English breakfast (you have to decide what you want for breakfast in the evening) was served lukewarm. The coffee from the machine was awful.

I had the opportunity to stay at the hotel on a business trip. The impressions are very good. Clean, cozy and tasty. The only thing in the rooms was very hot))) I slept with the window open.
