Very friendly and helpful and central located to our needs!
I stayed here 3 nights for a Toronto trip and had a great experience with the hotel. I was admittedly a bit worried because of some of the reviews I saw here and on other sites, but I did not experience any of the negative things they are taking about at all. The hotel was very clean, professional, and felt very safe. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location was also amazing and we were able to walk to many places without needing transit. For further away places, the yellow-line subway station is just a 4-5 minute walk away, just around the corner and down the block. I was able to get from Union Station to this hotel (at the start of my trip) and back (and the end of my trip) very easily using the yellow line even though I had never used the Toronto subway system in the past The size and space in the rooms makes it a very comfortable experience, like staying at an apartment or small home instead of a hotel Having the bedroom in a separate room from the rest of the suite allowed me to go to bed before my friend without us worrying about disturbing one another, and we even cooked breakfast in the kitchen The staff even allowed an early check-in for my friend when they arrived from the airport which was a lifesaver because they had been traveling since the middle of the night and needed a chance to wind down. I told my friend I really don’t think they will let you check in that early, but they did it!! So so nice of the staff to allow this, I understand it’s not a regular thing to be expected. If I return to Toronto in the future, I would love to stay here again
Though I intended to stay here, I didn't actually get to, but I want to leave this review for Town Inn Suites' customer service, because I had a good experience with them. I booked a prepaid/nonrefundable room on their website back in January, but something prevented them from successfully charging my card, which they informed me about after I inquired about the absence of either a booking confirmation in my email or a charge on my card. My card issuer couldn't see any problems, so I booked elsewhere and was charged successfully by the other hotel. A few months later near the start of May, though, my card was charged for the booking I made with Town Inn in January! I reached out to them to see if they could possibly make an exception to their policy and refund me since it had been three months since I should've been charged and I had already booked elsewhere, and they graciously did so, which they definitely didn't have to do. I genuinely wanted to stay here because of the balcony my room would've had, so the next time I visit Toronto I'll definitely try booking at Town Inn again, but I think I'll book it over the phone instead of online. Thank you Town Inn!
