About this place Oasis Sens del Mar

Oasis Sens del Mar is a gay-friendly hotel located in Cancún's Zona Hotelera, the city's primary resort corridor. Situated along Boulevard Kukulcan with direct beach access, it offers visitors a waterfront base for exploring Mexico's Caribbean coast. The property falls within Cancún's established gay hospitality scene, where several hotels and resorts actively welcome LGBTQ+ guests and cater to the growing number of queer travellers visiting the region. As a resort-style property, guests can expect typical amenities found in this category: pool facilities, beach access, on-site dining options, and accommodation ranging from standard rooms to suite configurations. The beachfront location means you're positioned to enjoy Cancún's primary draw—Caribbean Sea views and water activities—while remaining close to the Hotel Zone's restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. The area itself has become increasingly popular with LGBTQ+ travellers, offering a mix of dedicated gay venues and mainstream establishments with welcoming atmospheres. The hotel's location on Boulevard Kukulcan places it within easy reach of both the beach and the broader Cancún tourist infrastructure. Whether you're visiting for a relaxing beach getaway, a party-focused trip, or a mix of both, this positioning allows flexibility in how you spend your time. For the most current information about specific room types, packages, facilities, and any LGBTQ+-focused events or services, we recommend visiting their official website or contacting the property directly. Cancún remains an accessible and popular destination for LGBTQ+ travellers, and this hotel offers a beachfront option within that landscape.

We spent three nights there. The service was average, but the hostesses were terrible, always favoring foreigners. The waiters, however, were very friendly and provided excellent service. As for the food, we had excellent service and the food at The White Box restaurant was exquisite. Chefs Daniel and Ulises truly created some of the best food you could ever eat. We went in January, so obviously it's cold, but the pools were freezing. The food at the specialty restaurants was definitely worth mentioning, as was the food at Miramar restaurant, which was also very good. The rooms were just okay, in my opinion, and they met the advertised standards.

This resort is “OK” at best. There are no chairs around the pool… none! The beach is very small with hardly any chairs. The buffets are so-so (I got food poisoning on day 3). To book a reservation at one of the restaurants, you have to go in the app and book before 5:00 (they said). Turns out, you have to book the day before and you’re still not guaranteed a spot. We ended up getting day passes and took the bus 20 minutes to for Oasis pyramid… which is amazing! Skip this resort, what you see (in the pics) is NOT what you get. Lame!
