Visitors frequently praise the hotel's exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, as well as its excellent location close to Puebla's center. I'm giving it one star simply because the service was terrible from the start. They wouldn't let us check in early even though the rooms were available (I saw it with my own eyes). Every hotel lets you check in early if the rooms are available. The lobby area is very poorly designed because it's on the second floor, and to get there you have to walk through the restaurant where people are eating, which is very inconvenient and uncomfortable for anyone passing by and for those enjoying their meals. But what ruined everything (even though we loved the rooms and their location) was the incompetent staff, as they couldn't fix the air conditioning problem. First of all, they didn't even bother to tell us that the air conditioning wasn't working until I went to ask them about the remote and realized it. And the guy there was just avoiding the problem and ignoring us. He was giving excuses and useless "solutions." But what bothered me most was that when I politely asked if the problem had been resolved, he told me to give him five minutes because he had something to do. Twenty to thirty minutes passed, and he was nowhere to be seen. When I finally found him doing nothing, he saw me and pretended to be typing on his tablet. That really annoyed me. This guy, whose name I never learned, should have a conversation with his boss so he can be shown how to do his job properly, or he should start looking for another job because he's quite incompetent. If this hadn't happened and they had told me the truth from the beginning, without excuses, lies, silly solutions, and without wasting my time, I would have given them five stars and returned in the future, as well as recommended them. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Also, the rooms need better cleaning and some remodeling. Finally, they have a mini-bar (refrigerator), but it's locked, and if you want to use it, there's an extra charge, even to store your own drinks. A RIDICULOUS THING.
Beautiful hotel, very kind and helpful staff! Would love to return in the future.
A very good option for accommodation. Excellent service and attention.
