About this place Wang's

Wang's is a small gay cocktail lounge at 3317 North Broadway in Northalsted (Boystown), next door to the sushi restaurant Wakamono. The room is dim and done up in vintage Shanghai style, and the pear martini is the drink regulars mention. DJs play, but at a volume you can still talk over. It opens at 4pm daily, closing at 11pm or midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes it a pre-drinks or early evening stop rather than a late one. The Halsted Street bars are a block west.

Wow I am so impressed with Wangs, not only is it an amazing bar in Chicago but their employees are so sweet and honest. I lost my wallet last night and I was so devastated about it, not only did wangs have it but all my cash was in there! Thank you so much Wangs 🥹♥️ I love you 🌈♥️

Came here as stop on our crab Rangoon crawl! Came at 5 pm on a Saturday night with a group of 10 and no reservation and the service WAS INCREDIBLE! Thought they would laugh us out the door but they immediately jumped into action and were able to configure a small seating section in the cocktail bar side for us so we could have our group huddled together between the bar and chairs. Great cocktails and cannot be more impressed by the staff
