Appallingly slow inattentive but friendly service. Noisy and rowdy bar. Small Portions, like in France, not America. $22 for a hamburger (not even cheeseburger) and fries. Mediocre and small hamburger. Avoid

Amazing food! Seafood (appetizers) super fresh and meaty! Steak frites and steak sandwich was delicious! Our waitress Jessie was super accommodating and went above and behind to make sure we had a great experience.

My boyfriend, one of my friends, and I stopped by Taureaux Tavern for happy hour and had such a great experience. We sat out on the patio, which was a beautiful spot to enjoy a few drinks and catch up. We didn't order any food, so I can't speak to the menu, but the cocktails were fantastic. The Risky Business was refreshing and flavorful, and everything we ordered was well-made. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for an afternoon happy hour. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

The window clearly advertises breakfast. They are right next to The Buckingham Hotel and major foot traffic, and they do NOT have breakfast.

Unique dining experience. Outdoor dining is available but they also open the restaurant windows for a more open experience. There are booths near the bar area as well. The cheeseburger is fantastic. One of the best burgers I've ever had. There's a large portion of fries that come with the burger as well. There is no street parking close but there are a couple of lots nearby that aren't that expensive. I recommend Hunter parking. Not that expensive to park all day

Wow! What a gem of a space very delicious food and a comfortable environment that feels like an oasis! The French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had and the wings were absolutely phenomenal! I got the steak sandwich and was impressed with the generous portion of fries that came with it! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much! Shout out to the lovely staff

Tharueax Tavern is doing a lot right—with one small note. Ordered the steak frites medium and it came out a bit under, but not a dealbreaker. The lobster bites though? Absolutely lived up to the hype—crispy, buttery, and packed with flavor. I’d come back just for those. ⭐⭐⭐⭐½

Went for dinner for 2. Had the chewiest steak. Cut with the muscle strands, not sure whose idea that was... it was barely edible. Atmosphere was loud and chaotic even if nearly all tables were empty. Some work event (including a speech) was quite rowdy. Service was good and friendly. Can't recommend.

Competent food and taps. Run by a restaurant group that has several other downtown bars, Taureaux is well run and already quite popular. The food is typical gastro-pub-lite, there is a good selection of taps and bottles, and wine by the bottle or the glass won't break the bank. Layout can be a bit crowded, but overall the whole experience works well.
