We love that hotel, continental breakfast decent. It was nice friendliness of the staff. Great we left circleville and went all the way there because we were reading at the place was haunted for the two days stay we picked up paranormal activity love to go back
Is this place shut down??? We enjoyed previous stays and recently walked by and it looked closed. I hope this is not the case. I looked at the website and it looks like new owners took over. If it’s still open, I would love to come back and stay in the future. Hopefully owners will respond soon. Thanks.
so this whole entire experience was incredibly just underwhelming and i expected more from a place as civilized and well known as this.
Cool old historic building in a great downtown location, but it needs some improvements. Shower in bathroom didn't have hot water, breakfast selections were limited and the prepackaged muffin had some mold on it. No curtains in room so it was very bright after sunrise. Blanket had what appeared to be a blood stain. Staff was nice though, and the 100 year old elevator was cool. I understand new ownership took over recently so hopefully they will be able to fix things soon.
This is a great boutique hotel in a gem of a historic building. The team there is top notch.
Really quaint and reasonably priced boutique hotel in downtown Greensboro. The hospitality is second to none. The nicest and warmest people work the front desk. The room is cozy and comfortable, and the location is perfect - just a seven minute walk to the Amtrak station. However, the age of the hotel is evident in the loose floorboards, cracked windowsill, and outside noise bleeding easily into the room. The bed is also very firm, and the TV is really small.
