Tom and Party Tom gave us a tour of the Brumder Mansion. My wife and I caught a stand-up comedy show and had an amazing time. It honestly felt like stepping into a different timeline. The history, artifacts, and atmosphere made the whole experience unforgettable.

Authentic haunted houses really do exist! Nowadays, an internet search can reveal where such paranormal locations are, with some offering tours or overnight stays. The Brumder Mansion is one such place! Its an old Victorian built around the turn of the century, built by a wealthy family prominent in Old Milwaukee. Settled on the corner of Wisconsin Ave and roughly 33rd Street, Brumder Masion sits atop a hill with a stoic old-timey presence. Granted the neighborhood isn't the best (where the Marquette Campus area fades away overlapped with inner city shady part of town). But once upon a time, this was a more prominent part of Milwaukee, near formal gathering places like the Rave Eagles Ballroom and elaborately constructed churches, where the wealthy once lived. The area has since deteriorated, but still stands the Brumder Mansion, where paranormal events live on. The host-owners are an older couple who are very friendly and knowledgeable about the grounds. You check in evening hours and are greeted with a tour. All furniture is antique-old along with decor of days long gone and dozens of scary old portraits! The basement has what they call catacombs which at one point connected to underground city tunnels. (Also, search up on YouTube for previous paranormal explorations here.) The owners make you breakfast in the morning. I stayed in the 2nd most haunted bedroom.....and yes, I experienced strange hair- raising events! Ill detail scary yet amazing occurrence- I was looking in the mirror and something catches my eye- I see in the mirror that one of 4 chandelier bulbs is slowly flickering....dim----bright----dim----bright---repeat, repeat. And so I turn around and witness the event and let me emphasize that the manner in which the light did this was delicate, memorizing- almost alive in a weird way. Not an evil spirit, fyi. So ill leave you with with that! I encourage all haunted house seekers to stay the night! Owners hospitable and accommodating. Happy haunts!

They do not answer their phone when you call with questions. This company does not pay its vendors. I would not spend any money with them or do business with them again.
