Front Runners New York Pride Run
About This Event
The Front Runners New York LGBTQ+ Pride Run is a 4-mile road race in Central Park, held on a Saturday in late June during NYC Pride. The LGBTQ+ running club Front Runners New York started it in 1982 and stages it with New York Road Runners.
It is a proper timed race, but most of the field is there for the occasion. Proceeds go to an LGBTQ+ nonprofit chosen each year by club members, and the race says it has raised more than $300,000 since it began. Entries sell out in hours, so register as soon as NYRR opens it.
The 2026 race was on 27 June, with a start at 8 am and Housing Works as beneficiary. The 2027 date has not been announced yet.
