La Hacienda San Jose Silicon Valley

Room stunk. I requested another room. They ignored. One of the elevators wouldn't open on the 3rd floor. I told staff. He said he would look into it. Hallways dirty. Felt like a horror movie. Room was clean. Hotel and TV outdated. Fire alarm went off around 7am. Maybe first and second floors are better. I don't know how this place has such high ratings.

I have been in many motels, hotels can I even state and hotels where there are a thousand dollars a night.THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD. And very clean I like that. Some people say I got o c d so for it being cleaning and the way it was , it was it was excellent. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and welcome

I had a surgery at Kaiser and had to go back in the next day for further surgery. Instead of driving home to Santa Cruz we stayed the night. The girl behind the desk (Jessica?) was very accommodating and let us check in a bit early. The place was clean and the rooms were well equipped. I would say it needs a few modernizations but over-all the place was nice. Since the restaurant next door is closed down, we were given a list of restaurants near by. The only complaint I have is I put the room on my card and my husband had his card at check in and he wanted to put the room on his card, which was taken. The final bill showed it was billed on my card.

I stayed here for a few days and Star was such a joy. Facilities were great, no complaints!

I'm not much of a hotel person, but this place says it's 3-star, and I'd say it's more like a 2-star motel. The front desk person gave me a hard time about my reservation and paying with my husband's card, even though he was right there. Then, when we tried to go to the pool, our room key wouldn't work on any of the gates. So I went back to the front desk, and the guy just pointed us to some old wedding hall that led outside to the back of the hotel. You have to look right and hope you can get into the pool gate, and once you're in, there are no towels. So you have to go back inside and ask the rude guy for a towel or two again. They don't even have continental breakfast, just coffee in the room. I definitely won't be coming back here. Their website totally lies about the amenities.

Excellent hotel considering the value for money, a great option. The staff were exceptional, better than in many places I've stayed. Jenna and Estrella were wonderful. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property is old, dirty, poorly maintained, and has an unpleasant odor throughout. The bathroom was leaking, the facilities are outdated, and the entire place feels neglected. What made the experience even worse was the unprofessional behavior of a front desk employee. While I was speaking with another receptionist, she inserted herself into a conversation that had nothing to do with her and made sarcastic comments that appeared intended to embarrass and humiliate me. She wasn’t even assisting me, yet felt the need to interrupt and make jokes at my expense. No guest should be treated that way. The behavior was disrespectful, immature, and completely unprofessional. Between the poor condition of the hotel and the unacceptable staff attitude, I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else. 🤢🤢🤢🤮👎
