What reviewers say

Visitors praise Alice Lodge for its inexpensive and central location, cleanliness, and good value, with many finding the rooms comfortable and the staff helpful. However, some guests report that rooms can be hot and noisy, particularly west-facing ones, and the air conditioning is not always effective, while others found the atmosphere not very good and the reception to be fully automatic.

Stayed in Dorm - large, lots of space. Basic kitchen but with everything you need. Only thing would be no window in the dorm room I was staying in, or little bedside light.

Great safe place to stay. Very well organised. No staff onsite but very easy to get hold of staff by phone. Room basic but very clean. Other guests very respectful. Excellent wifi and pool is great. Thanks to the team @ Alice Lodge 😊🙏😊

Kitchen ridicously small, MICE and bugs inside the room, and inside the kitchen. No one at the reception, ever, so everyone that know the code can come in and out every moment. The fridge didin't worked for two entire weeks, and we didin't have forks for weeks as well. Someone stole my food multiple times, and I'm talking about TWO ENTIRE BAGS, 100 bucks of food, and once I asked if they can check the cameras, they said that it isnt they're fault for the bad behavior of the guests, in a very rude way. Fair, but that it was just an excuse because, surprise? The cameras doesen't work! Really, worst hostel in town, and, for my experience as a backpaker that lived in dozens and dozens of hostel, the worst of my life. If you can, choose another one. It is just an hostel abandoned to himself, and they won't and don't do anything to improve.
