What a lovely old pub. We came for lunch and the food was very disappointing. Steak sandwich was a cold burger bun with a peice of iceberg lettuce, drip of onion jam and tomato sauce- steak was broiled .Chips super hot and good Fish of the day was overcooked and really dry . Such an opportunity to make great food in this quaint town wasted

Great atmosphere in the dining room. The staff (especially Julie) are very friendly and really make you feel welcome. The meals are delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. We will definitely be returning.

My friend and I had lunch at the Marburg Hotel last Friday. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, the friendly service and fair price. The food arrived piping hot, well presented, fresh and yummy. The dining room is tastefully decorated with linen tablecloths and chair covers. This venue is a gem of a find and we will definitely return.
