I recently completed a 6-day stay at the Oaks Perth Hotel, and it was a highly convenient base for exploring the city. It located right in the middle of the city center! It offers incredibly easy access to the Perth Underground, making getting around the city a breeze. You are spoiled for choice here—there are plenty of shops and great restaurants just a short walk away. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. A huge plus was the kitchenette setup, which allowed us to do some simple cooking during our stay. Keep in mind that they do not provide daily room service, which was fine for us but good for future guests to know. The only major downside was the air-conditioning unit. It desperately needs servicing. The fan blowers were heavily covered in dust, which made the unit very noisy throughout our stay. Aside from the noisy climate control, we had a wonderful time. I would definitely come back and stay here again, provided the hotel resolves the air-conditioning maintenance issue.

Great location near Murray Street, easy to walk to nearby shopping and dining places, big rooms, nice reception and service. One room had an archaic aircon unit that was very loud and we had to wear ear plugs to sleep. Another room had a quiet, modern AC so it is weirdly inconsistent. A bit dated look and furnishing. TV lacks YouTube and Netflix which is not good in this day and age.

yall i can not even lie, one of the reception or front desk staff member looks exactly like the thai actor in the bl " between us" and he is very nice aswell, he genuinely looks so good, he should keep his blonde hair colour🙏🏻🥨

Worst hotel ever! Lifts weren’t working for 32 hours! Staff laughed when we questioned this and a lot of elderly people had to use stairs and weren’t assisted VERY dated bathrooms, smells like fish through the whole facility - no fresh air, incredibly old aircon/heater that sounds like a plane taking off at all times and most of all constant water pipe movement noise which occurs a smell!! Definitely not worth the money, do not stay here.

Bad experience with the front desk, the female staff was very kind, but the male staff was very rude. One time I came down to request water, as given a couple by the female staff, but then the male staff noticed and immediately berated and scolded her for doing so. Apparently male staff thought water is no longer a human right. Also, all elevators have stopped functioning for 2 days now, super inconvenient having to go up and down the stairs.
