I only went inside to kill time before going to Matsuba-yu hot spring.

It's a very interesting place, so I recommend that students in Kyoto visit at least once. A few years ago, when I was a student, I went inside with a Yukio Mishima novel in hand, and found it very fascinating. Don't stare at people too much. If you're straight, keep in mind that you're there to see a movie. I recommend going alone. The loneliness will make the experience even more interesting. If you're brave, I recommend heading up to the second floor. I wasn't able to go up there, but you can sense that something is happening even from the first floor.

It was a movie theater just as I had heard, but everyone was kind and it was a very comfortable experience.

As a westerner who likes older guys this place was the best in town. Mainly trans upstairs so I preferred downstairs. But for a 100 yen extra it’s worth a look anyway. Just hang around and watch what’s going on and you’ll soon be having fun too. Don’t wear your Sunday best clothes as it’s pretty grubby.

Once you enter, you're doomed; it's a cruising spot. The second floor, in particular, has a very strange atmosphere. I had a terrifying experience when I used it. I want to use it again. I'll be waiting for you.
